Jacob Morrison, AIA
Founding Partner
Jacob knows that every project is an opportunity to partner and learn from someone new, creating places that reflect the personalities of the clients. He combines architecture and interiors to create places that inspire people and make them feel at home, and has designed a wide variety of projects, from restaurants and cafes to private residences, offices and apartment buildings.
He earned a Masters of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, and worked for several award winning firms, including internationally known Robert A.M. Stern Architects. After relocating to Madison, Jacob spent nine years as a sole practitioner before partnering with Matt Tills to form MoTiS in 2017.
Jacob and his wife Anne, a real estate development professional, often work together on projects and even share adjacent offices. When spending time off they often visit Anne’s family cabin in Michigan or make the trip to Jacob’s hometown in southern Louisiana.
